In this role, Randi will serve as a strategic partner to our CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors — aligning strategy, governance, and execution across the organization. She will help translate priorities into coordinated action, strengthen organizational planning, support Board processes, and drive high-impact initiatives that advance PRC’s mission to serve people living with HIV/AIDS, substance use disorder, and mental health challenges in San Francisco.

A Leader Who Knows PRC Inside and Out
Randi steps into this position with deep institutional knowledge and a strong track record of impact. Since joining PRC in 2020 — most recently as Chief Development Officer — she has led fundraising strategy and advancement operations during a period of meaningful growth.
Under her leadership, PRC strengthened major donor engagement, enhanced development systems, and drove high-impact campaigns and events. Her work has helped generate significant private funding while partnering with colleagues to secure substantial public resources that sustain and expand our services.

Beyond fundraising, Randi has been central to many of PRC’s most beloved community moments. She has been integral in producing PRC’s line up of annual fundraising events, as well as supporting volunteer initiatives and community engagement.
Her thoughtful approach to relationship stewardship has helped cultivate a highly engaged Board of Directors and deepen connections with grassroots supporters, volunteers, sponsors, new funders, and PRC’s clients.
A Strategic Connector
“Randi’s strategic mindset, collaborative leadership style, and deep institutional knowledge make her uniquely suited for this role,” said Dr. Deborah Hawkes, PRC’s CEO. “Her ability to connect people, priorities, and processes will be invaluable as we continue to grow and evolve.”
With more than 20 years of experience across nonprofit arts, higher education, and human services, Randi brings a rich and diverse background to the role. Her previous work includes development positions at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, San Francisco Opera, The Crucible, and Quinn Associates, where she built expertise in direct response fundraising, donor relations, campaign strategy, and communications.
“I’m honored to step into the Chief of Staff role at PRC,” Randi shared. “Having served in Development, I’ve seen firsthand the extraordinary dedication of our staff and the resilience of the communities we serve. I look forward to supporting our leadership team, strengthening collaboration across the organization, and advancing strategic initiatives and partnerships that sustain and grow PRC’s impact.”
Looking Ahead
As Chief of Staff, Randi will play a key role in strengthening internal alignment, supporting governance excellence, and ensuring that PRC’s strategic initiatives move forward with clarity and momentum.
Her leadership reflects PRC’s continued investment in organizational strength — because when our internal systems are strong, our impact in the community is even stronger.
Randi holds a BA in Political Science with a Minor in Art History from Rutgers University and resides in San Francisco with her husband, two sons, and dog.
Please join us in congratulating Randi on this well-deserved appointment and in celebrating this exciting next chapter for PRC.
