Staff Appreciation Month
All May Long

For the third year running, PRC is celebrating its most important asset – its staff – who work hard all year long to provide high-quality, impactful services to community members who need them most.

We’ll show our gratitude with a full month of activities, including costume contests, ice cream and cookie deliveries, spin the wheel for prizes, and trivia games.

Advocacy Day
Wednesday, June 19

PRC’s initiative, the Black Leadership Council (BLC), hosts its third annual Advocacy Day, “Black In Action”, an exciting opportunity for BLC members to meet with state leaders in Sacramento to discuss policy issues core to improving outcomes for Black Californians.

Past years have included a full day of meetings with elected officials and state department leads, media coverage, and even a co-sponsored masquerade ball with the California Legislative Black Caucus and the California Black Legislative Staff Association!

Gary Virginia and Donna Sachet’s Pride Brunch

For 25 years Gary Virginia and Donna Sachet’s Pride Brunch has honored the San Francisco Pride Parade Grand Marshals while being one of the most festive events of Pride Week. This annual celebration of the LGBTQI+ community has long been a beloved, joyful, fun-filled tradition while raising critical funds for PRC.

All proceeds have supported PRC’s integrated legal, social, and behavioral health services for those affected by HIV/AIDS, mental health issues, and substance use.

Mighty Real Fundraiser
Thursday, October 4, 6:00 pm 

PRC’s signature annual fundraising event is named after “Queen of Disco” Sylvester’s song, “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)”, to honor our visionary benefactor.

This celebration of all the ways PRC transforms lives features opportunities to hear from clients, an exciting live auction and Fund a Need, fabulous performances, and a chance to socialize with everyone from political dignitaries and business notables to drag divas.

Community Winter Celebration
