PRC and Tipping Point Launch Project to Help San Francisco’s Homeless Gain Access to Federal Disability Benefits

PRC, the San Francisco-based nonprofit which elevates the lives of those living with HIV/AIDS, substance use or mental health issues, today announced a unique project to help the City’s homeless population gain access to federal disability benefits. The project is in collaboration with four local organizations: Tipping Point Community, San Francisco Human Services Agency (HSA), San Francisco Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (HSH) and Bay Area Legal Aid. The cross-sector endeavor, designed to meet the needs of some of the most disenfranchised and underserved members of the community, will be funded by a grant from Tipping Point. PRC will receive the funds over the next three years.

PRC Signs Long-term Lease with Option to Buy on SoMA Headquarters Building

PRC, the San Francisco-based nonprofit that elevates the lives of those living with HIV/AIDS, substance use or mental health issues, today announced that they have secured 170 9th St. in the SoMA neighborhood of San Francisco. The 25,000 sq. ft. building, erected in 1934 and slated for a head-to-toe renovation by Gensler and revel architecture & design, will serve as PRC’s permanent service center and headquarters, with a move-in date scheduled for late 2018
