Tasha Henneman, EdD

Tasha Henneman oversees PRC’s public policy and government affairs, as well as all communications functions. She also serves as director of the Black Leadership Council, a new policy initiative addressing broken systems of care for African-Americans and other minority populations. Tasha’s professional experience encompasses more than two decades in the nonprofit and government sectors. Prior to PRC, Tasha was chief of staff at SF Goodwill Industries and served as district director for State Senator Nancy Skinner (D9-East Bay) and as education and health policy advisor in the Office of the Mayor of Berkeley. Tasha earned her EdD and MA in early childhood education and leadership at Mills College. She also holds an MA in public administration from California State University Hayward and a BA in liberal studies from California State University Chico. Among her many current board and advisory roles are Lifelong Medical, the Center for Equity in Early Childhood Education, Berkeley Public Schools Fund, The Preventive Ounce, and K*STAR*Productions.
