Ahmad Henry, CAIA

Ahmad Henry joined PRC’s Board of Directors in 2025, shortly after relocating to San Francisco from Boca Raton, Florida. A lifelong volunteer with a passion for community, Ahmad brings both personal insight and professional dedication to PRC’s mission.

His connection to this work is deeply personal. When someone in his family faced homelessness, it revealed how close many families are to crisis. Though he grew up with financial hardship, his grandmother provided the gift of stable housing—something he now sees as foundational to dignity and health. That experience fuels his drive to support organizations like PRC.

Ahmad quickly immersed himself in the PRC community, attending events like Mighty Real and looking for opportunities to deepen his engagement. He’s committed to using his lived experience and leadership skills to help PRC expand its reach and impact.

Known in his family as “Henry the Eighth” (he’s the eighth of nine siblings), Ahmad credits his upbringing with developing strong interpersonal skills. He’s also a lifelong fan of Motown music and a passionate moviegoer, believing that music has the unique power to connect, inspire, and uplift.

Through his role on PRC’s Board, Ahmad hopes to ensure that no one faces hardship without support and to help build a healthier, more equitable San Francisco for all.
