Dennis brings a deep well of experience and compassion to his role at PRC, shaped by his early work as an Employment Specialist during the AIDS epidemic. At a time when stigma and fear often prevented people living with HIV/AIDS from securing employment, Dennis stood as an advocate, witnessing the urgent need for empathy, education, and systemic change.
That experience continues to inform his work today. At PRC, Dennis is dedicated to advancing the organization’s mission of empowering individuals affected by HIV/AIDS, substance use, and mental health challenges. He is particularly passionate about reshaping narratives around employment, championing diversity and inclusion, and reimagining what the path to meaningful work can look like for people living with invisible or chronic conditions.
Outside of PRC, Dennis is an active presence in the recovery and mental health communities. He’s also an aviation enthusiast with an encyclopedic knowledge of aircraft models and engine specs.
