PRC’s Mighty Real Gala
PRC's 4th annual celebration of Hope, Resilience, and Pride, returned to the elegant Four Seasons Hotel on Friday, November 4th, 2022 at 6:00 PM. This successful fundraising event raised more than $245,000 for PRC's lifesaving, integrated social, legal, and behavioral health services to help the City's most vulnerable populations. Aftershock Film Screening and Panel Discussion
In recognition of Black Maternal Health Week (April 11-17), an effort to build awareness, activism, and community-building to amplify the voices, perspectives and lived experiences of Black Moms and birthing people, the Black Leadership Council (BLC), along with partners, First 5 of Alameda County Fathers Corps, Alameda Heath Systems' BElovedBIRTH Black Centering, and the California Black Health Network, will screen the film Aftershock - a thoughtful and powerful example of the impact that maternal mortality has on our community and Black families.

As one of the most high-profile and festive events of Pride Week, this beloved tradition marks a major milestone and is a wonderful opportunity to meet and hear from the fabulous Grand Marshals. Mighty Real Gala
PRC's annual celebration of hope, resilience, and pride is named after the hit song You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real) by Disco Legend, and PRC's benefactor, Sylvestor…who benefitted from our services and had the foresight to ensure others would benefit in perpetuity. This inspirational and electrifying evening of incredible cuisine, wine, and fun, takes place on Thursday, November 9th, 2023. During each year's event, the Sylvester Community Pillar Award is presented to an individual who reflects the love and joy that symbolizes the music of Sylvester, a special individual who humbly serves the community, working assiduously to improve our lives while capturing our hearts in the process.

Songs Of The Season
This joyful annual event was created 30 years ago by drag personality, producer, singer, hostess extraordinaire, and longtime PRC volunteer Donna Sachet, as one of her many ways to raise funds to support PRC. For the past six years, Songs of the Season has been produced by Donna’s good friend and community stalwart, Billboard recording artist Brian Kent. This amazing cabaret show takes place in December and delivers two nights of incredible performances from a variety of locally and internationally recognized entertainers, all determined to spread the joy and excitement that come to define the holidays!
