Emergency Financial Assistance
EFA (formerly AIDS Emergency Fund) provides financial assistance to low-income San Francisco residents living with HIV/AIDS.
Emergency Financial Assistance (EFA) provides one-time grants for urgent needs that threaten a person’s health, housing, or stability. These funds can be used for emergency expenses, such as housing costs, medical, dental, vision, or hearing needs, as well as utility bills when service is at risk of termination or disconnection. Additional eligibility restrictions may apply.
PRC’s Emergency Financial Assistance is seeing clients through appointments only.

Eviction Prevention
The Eviction Prevention (EP) grant offers financial support to help cover move-in costs (such as security deposits or first month’s rent) or to prevent eviction once every three years. A referral from a case manager, social worker, or attorney is required. Eligible individuals may receive up to $1,000 per grant cycle based on need.
