Greg Perez is the Chief People Officer at PRC, where he leads People Experience (HR) with a deep commitment to social justice, integrity, and building systems that allow people and organizations to thrive. His career has been shaped by work at the intersection of people, accountability, and community impact, ensuring that mission-driven organizations remain strong, equitable, and sustainable.
Greg first joined PRC as a Legal Advocate from 1996 to 2000, during which he represented clients in Social Security Disability hearings—experiences that continue to inform his leadership approach today. Those early years reinforced the importance of patience, presence, and timely action, principles he brings to supporting staff and cultivating a healthy, inclusive workplace. His work has long centered on advancing dignity and opportunity for individuals affected by HIV/AIDS, mental health challenges, substance use, and systemic inequities.
Greg holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Chicano Studies from UC Berkeley and earned his Juris Doctor from the New College of California School of Law. He brings a distinctive blend of legal insight, human resources expertise, and operational leadership to his role, with a focus on consistency, stability, and clear expectations across the organization.
As Chief People Officer, Greg is dedicated to ensuring staff have access to robust training, clear pathways for growth, and the tools they need to succeed. He is especially passionate about workforce development models that support individuals with lived experience as they transition into employment. A strong advocate for thoughtful use of technology and data, he has helped modernize People Experience systems at PRC, increasing efficiency while preserving the human-centered values at the heart of the work.
