Darren Smith

Darren Smith, managing director, leads the Western U.S. for JPMAM’s North America Institutional business.
An employee since 2001, Darren manages a team of investment professionals that serve the investment needs of U.S. institutional investors, including corporations, public funds, endowments, and foundations.
He also serves on the North America Institutional business management team. Prior to joining the Firm, Darren worked for Lincoln Financial, Liberty Funds, and INVESCO Funds as a wholesaler.
Darren received a B.S. in Business and Public Administration from the University of the Pacific. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 24 licenses and his NFA Series 3 and 30 licenses

Michael Steinberg

Michael Steinberg is currently Team Lead, Global Public Health and Special Projects, Enterprise Health for Chevron Corporation, working out of the company’s headquarters in San Ramon, California, since April 2008. Michael oversees various health projects and programs that support the health needs of the company’s 40,000 plus employees as well as communities the company operates in.

Michael began his career at Chevron as Health and Productivity Advisor where he supported preventive and population health management initiatives, national health events, wellness facilities, programs and capacity building across the enterprise. Over the years, he was progressively promoted within the Enterprise Health function and has resided on projects that range from capital project wellness design, business process optimization, health metrics, human performance, strategic partnerships, community health programming and disease prevention design and implementation.

Michael previously completed a twenty-month assignment in Chevron’s Angola medical department where he developed and implemented a sustainable integrated wellness strategy, health program processes and business plans. In addition to supporting the U.S. workforce, he continues to provide consultation to global operations and organizations that includes public health initiatives in cardiovascular health, HIV, mosquito borne illnesses, tuberculosis and other health threats.

He graduated with a kinesiology/exercise physiology major and holds a Master of Management/Business from the University of San Francisco. He previously worked at one of the most prestigious private clubs in the world, The Pacific-Union Club in San Francisco, where in his health management role engaged daily with global business and government leaders. He has served on the Chevron Recreation board, Plasma Science board and as Chairman of the Chevron Health, Environment and Safety Committee as well as on various health and safety teams as lead, member and contributor

Merredith Treaster

Merredith Treaster is Regional Head of Northwest Office Investments at Nuveen. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a BS in Neuroscience, but quickly moved into real estate, working with CBRE, Tishman Speyer, Hines, and the John Buck Company.

Nichole Wiley

Nichole Wiley is a Director of Asset Management in the Office/Life Science Sector at Nuveen. Nichole has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate; prior to joining the firm, Nichole worked for Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc., Flynn Holdings, Genzon and CBRE. Nichole and her family are actively involved with the Fr. Sauer Academy, Nichole also serves on the Saint Ignatius Pacific Asian Club. A 1st generation San Francisco Native, Nichole attended the San Francisco public school system and is passionate about philanthropy and supporting the movement for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
